UniCredit Bank is an active player on the Russian inter-bank money market. The Bank is active both in raising and placing funds in Rubles and foreign currency, as interbank deposits or under bilateral loan agreements.

Inter-bank loans to correspondent banks are available within credit lines, as well as on a covered basis. UniCredit Bank is granting loans under different types of security — UniCredit Bank promissory notes, hard currency, etc.

 

Syndicated Loans

UniCredit Bank is an active participant on the international syndicated lending market. In 2005 UniCredit Bank participated in more than 40 syndicated loans to largest banking names in Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and Kazakhstan. The overall exposure was about USD 160 mln, which made UniCredit Bank the largest participant of the syndicated loans market for financial institutions among Russian banks.
