On June 27, 2017, the Analytical Credit Rating Agency (ACRA) assigned the highest possible AAA(RU) rating to AO UniCredit Bank (“UniCredit”) with Stable outlook. 

The credit rating of UniCredit is determined by a very high likelihood of receiving extraordinary support from the parent bank UniCredit SpA marked by high creditworthiness. UniCredit’s standalone creditworthiness assessment (SCA) is also high due to a combination of its strong market position, solid loss absorption buffer, and adequate risk profile.

Among other key rating assessment factors ACRA noted UniCredit’s stable profitability regardless of the economic cycle, strong liquidity position as well as satisfactory funding profile.
