Upon approval by the Bank of Russia Mikhail Povaliy was appointed to the position of Member of the Management Board of AO UniCredit Bank. The new appointment takes effect starting from 5 July 2019. Mr. Povaliy will be responsible for retail business of the Bank.

Prior to joining UniCredit Bank, Mikhail was Head of business development department of Visa International in Russia. From 2005 to 2017, Mikhail worked at Alfa Bank, where he was responsible for retail business development in 2013-2017. Before banking sector, Mikhail worked in large international companies.

Mikhail graduated from the Military Institute of Foreign Languages in 1994; he has MBA degree from the Lomonosov Moscow State University Business School, 2005; in 2016-2017, he completed the Top executive program at INSEAD.
