Following the decision of the Management Board of UniCredit Bank, Anatoly Shvedov has been appointed Head of Markets Department effective April 13, 2021.

A. Shvedov (biography)

Anatoly Shvedov started his career in 1994 with MDM-Bank to continue as Senior Russia Credit Trader with ING Bank in 1996. In 1998 he joined Citibank where he went up from Senior Fixed Income Trader to Head of Securities and Money Markets Department in Treasury. In 2006 Anatoly became CEO of OOO Goldman Sachs followed by other executive positions till 2017, including Chairman of the Executive Board of OOO Goldman Sachs Bank from 2014 till 2017. A. Shvedov has been Head of CIB Products Division, Advisor to Head of CIB, with Raiffeisenbank from 2017 till 2021.

In 1993 Anatoly graduated from Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov with cum laude MS degree in mathematics with Applied Mathematics Department. In 1998 he obtained PhD degree in physics and mathematics, Moscow State University. In 2007 A. Shvedov obtained MBA (high honours) with University of Chicago, Booth Graduate School of Business.
